If you’re visiting Orlando, Florida, you probably have a trip to Universal Studios on your list and then may decide to ignore the MGM Studios, however you can find-especially if you have younger children – MGM is a better alternative because there are fewer attractions with height restrictions than universal. Although there are a few more rides for strong emotions, most of MGM Studio is a more gentle pace which makes it a good destination for families, or those who are somewhat reduced mobility.
At the entrance to the Park, you’ll be on Hollywood Boulevard. This is a place for a nature shop merchandise, souvenirs and even more pieces of limited edition collectors, as well as find restaurants and other types of retail stores. Walk on the bottom of the Avenue however and you’ll find the great movie ride. Although the reason for this might be long, move swiftly and the journey through scenes of the well-known film is worth the wait.
The rest of the park there are shows like the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt spectacular showing how stunts are performed and wear scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark, a stunt car and bike show called lights, motors, action! Extreme Stunt Show and Fastasmic! One night spectacle in the Amphitheatre of hills Holywood.
For the young and young at heart, there’s things like Muppet vision 3D show of Jim Henson, the Little Mermaid, honey, I shrunk playground, show beauty and the beast, and Playhouse Disney live on stage. Those who love the thrill is not forgotten however with the Twilight Zone Tower of terror and Aerosmith indoor Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
With the trip to Narnia and the Tour of Disney-MGM Studios Backlot, there is a great day of entertainment to be had at Disney-MGM Studios. If you love Disney, worth a visit!
